Masculine

I'm busy learning the basics of Clean and Simple cards. This week's Less is More challenge Week 246  is
MASCULINE
Here is my take on it. Trying out the rule-of-thirds - hoping that the number plate (HBD.2U) is noticed by being at one of the intersections of the 'imagined' thirds. Also hoping that the creamy paper counts as 'white space' - I'd love some feedback on design +'s and -'s please.

The die is Rusty Old Ute (Ultimate Crafts), the paper is Webster's Pages Beautiful Chic 'Watermarked'. Letters - Spellbinders.

  1. This looks great and the backing of the truck is fairly clear, however the layering and coloured base layer take away from the clean and simpleness so to speak. Don't be afraid to leave completely blank areas!
It is however a great design and would be perfect for a chap!
    Thanks so much

  2. A lovely masculine CAS card.
"White" space just means open/unused space and it doesn't have to be white. It can be any colour.

  3. What a super masculine card!
"White" space can be any colour, but the idea is to keep things simple so your design takes centre stage.

  4. A super guy card. This is definitely CAS but for our challenge could be much simpler. Masculine cards are difficult but you've done brilliantly here.
    Thanks for sharing with us.
